SCIENTIFIC MEETING, STOCKHOLM, 2005

Use of fluorides in caries prevention, knowledge of periodontology and osseointegrated implants…….,

are probably the most important discoveries in dentistry during the 50 years that have passed since the European Section of the ICD was founded. Sweden is the birthplace of modern implant dentistry and the Scientific Programme was dedicated to a state-of-the-art seminar with renowned Swedish speakers giving both surgical and prosthetic aspects of treatment and results.

Excellent lectures were delivered by Dr Hans Nilson, Professor Stefan Lundgren, Dr Ulf Lunden, Professor Christer Dahlin, and Dr Sven Scholander.
