47th Annual Meeting European Section Lausanne, Switzerland June 2002

In June 2002, the Annual Meeting, attended by over 250 people, was held in Lausanne, Switzerland, under the Presidency of Dr. Nicole Vallotton. Dr. Valloton is the first woman to have become President of the European Section of ICD.

Her Scientific Programme was entitled: Evolution in Treatment Strategies through up-dated Technologies and featured three outstanding lecturers from the Dental School of Geneva: Professor U. Belser spoke on New Strategies in Fixed Prosthodontics; Dr. P Magne on Bonded Porcelain Restorations and the Biomimetic Approach in the Anterior Dentition, and Dr. D Dietschi on Anterior Asethetics: Conservative Treatment Options.
